The products referenced on this Purchase Order (PO) must be manufactured and tested using approved procedures, processes, qualified personal and calibrated test equipment. The supplier must have an ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management system or the system must be approved by Tropical Assemblies. If the manufacturer’s part number and description given in the PO do not match the supplier’s component, the supplier must immediately notify Tropical. Any custom specifications/requirements, revision status, design, verification, process requirements, inspection instruction, test requirements or use of statistical techniques for product acceptance will be listed in the description section of the PO.
All material/components must comply with FAR 25.853 and/or 14 CFR 25.853, when applicable.
If the supplier has knowledge of nonconforming product, the supplier must contact Tropical Assemblies in order to potentially get approval for shipment of the nonconforming product. The supplier must immediately notify Tropical Assemblies if there have been any changes in the product and/or manufacturing process. Tropical Assemblies must approve the changes prior to shipment. When requested, the supplier must grant access to Tropical Assemblies, our customer, and regulatory authorities to all supplier facilities. All applicable requirements and key characteristics to sub-tier suppliers must be available for review through their own purchasing documentation.
